This website is all about giving birth - not pregnancy, not the first few days after - just labour itself. Most women, whether pregnant or not, think about labour: Will it hurt? Will it be long? Will it all go well? What actually happens?  So here is an online resource all about it, hopefully answering any questions you have, and allowing you to discuss your fears and experiences with other mums and mums to be on our new FORUM

 

If you are a new visitor, please sign my guest book. This site is a continual work in progress, which I intend to keep expanding and adding to. So far there are a few teething troubles - mainly with spelling, but they are slowly getting ironed out, so please bear with me.

  I decided to write this website, as during my pregnancies I was obsessed with the idea of labour, and could find no online resource just about labour and nothing else. I'm not a midwife or anything, just a mum with an interest in the whole thing, so if you think I have missed anything important out, or not explained something enough please contact me
